Default Las Vegas Club-upper Deck

I loved that place.

Why did they close.

What is going to take the place.

They had such great Trout at such a reasonable price.

I've never dined there---it was always on my TO-DO-LIST.

But, the couple of times i took a quick look inside... it was 5% full.

The last I heard was that they were planning a renovation of the Upper Deck area and they were using the Great Moments Restaurant (on the first floor near the dugout food counter) as a combined dining experience until things are complete. They seemed to be quite busy when we were there a few weeks ago.

always had breakfast when staying at the vegas club, and the food was always decent, prices good and portions ample. i was worried when i saw that it had closed, they changed the great moments room from a wonderful restaurant to a cafe, and the sports book dissappeared a while ago, but we checked out the place mid december and it appears they are doing a lot of remodeling. the front bar had a tiki/beach type theme, and they had changed all of the gaming tables to match this, complete with new chips. if they keep going throughout the whole place, then i think it will be a desirable destination again. i think the only places that havent really done any upgrades recently are the plaza (which really, really needs it) and the california (main street hasnt done much, but it is not old and worn down like its neighbors).

Is this the place where you exit (to across the street) to the Cal? And, you walk thru some sports memorabilia - then, finally, to a HUGE room that seems so vacant with a few machines here/there. And, the motif - is some kind of wallpaper that mimics 50's baseball fans sitting in bleachers?
