| always had breakfast when staying at the vegas club, and the food was always decent, prices good and portions ample. i was worried when i saw that it had closed, they changed the great moments room from a wonderful restaurant to a cafe, and the sports book dissappeared a while ago, but we checked out the place mid december and it appears they are doing a lot of remodeling. the front bar had a tiki/beach type theme, and they had changed all of the gaming tables to match this, complete with new chips. if they keep going throughout the whole place, then i think it will be a desirable destination again. i think the only places that havent really done any upgrades recently are the plaza (which really, really needs it) and the california (main street hasnt done much, but it is not old and worn down like its neighbors). |
