Default Frontier Hotel - the Date

I heard on local radio here that THE FRONTIER will close on July 15.

We will be there starting on the 30th, I'll have to make sure to visit the Frontier and snap a few photos before it's gone

Not being a Bingo player, I did log onto LasVegas bingo.com. I am sure some of you bingo buffs know of this site, anyway there is a long list of places that offer the game. Good luck

It will be no surprise to anyone who knows me to discover that I'm incredibly sad at the news ..... those are lovely people who work in the bingo and the regular customers, I will miss them on my Vegas trips in the future. I'm glad that I will be able to say goodbye to the old place when I'm there next week (for the 3rd year in a row) but this time I know it will be for real!

I hope the staff all secure good jobs elsewhere.

I will miss it too. We always get in a few rounds of bingo each trip. Will have to go off strip now if we want to play bingo, I guess. Said goodbye to the place the first week of May, also played some bingo. I actually won two games.

What perfect timing for me to go to Vegas. I happen to arrive in Vegas on July 15th at 8pm. I gotta check-in to my hotel room real quick then book it back to the Strip and get to the Frontier. I never been at a casino on the day of its closing before. That will be a trip highlight that I won't ever forget. What a way to spend my first few hours in Vegas. Neat-o, but sad.

Oh boy, coming soon: a replica of the NYC Plaza with high-end retail shopping ZzZzZzZzZzZzZzZzZzZzZzZzZzZzZ. I wouldn't even hop in my car and drive 2 hours to the real New York City and be excited about seeing the real Plaza Hotel. I'm hoping that the construction/development costs rise and they have trouble financing the project, that way the whole thing gets scraped. You never know, but it's already happend in the past with other proposed projects in LV. Now I am starting to think Ruffin's plans for Montreaux might have been better.
