Default wsop main event

Of course the heavy favorite is Pro Phil Ivey or Jeff Shulman, but if anyone has been watching on tuesdays, Darvin Moon has been playin some solid poker. Raising when sensing weakness, folding when sensing strength....oh and not to mention he has 1/4 of all the chips on the table.

Cool Moon

Ivey doesn't have enough chips to survive more than a couple of big blinds plus the ante. He needs to draw some good cards right from the git go. Moon will play conservative and watch everyone wash each other out.

I have not noticed any tells, and he plays a solid game that mixes up what he does without getting out of hand. I have seen him bet a good hand out of position, and slow play the same type of hand in the same position. He has always done this against the correct type of player. I think this guy is much better than many people are giving him credit for. He is no Moneymaker.

I feel he is a shoe-in for the top three, and odds on favorite to get heads up just because of his chip stack. The big wild card is whether he knows how to play short handed or not.

I must put my money on Moon, but I really want to see Ivey take it down.

Mark
I will say I couldnt believe Ivey folded a flush last week.

I think Phil Ivey will show his experience here as a final table player and win.
That said, I have to root for Kevin Schaffel too, as it would be nice to see that a more mature player can still keep up, Kevin is over 50 now. Us senior citizens need a hero.

the rounds start at 120,000-240,000 with a 30,000 ante so 650K per orbit, so while is short he does have a couple of orbits before shove mode.

About Phil's fold, If I remember correctly, that was at least a 4mil swing, and will haunt him for a long time if he does not get good cards to start this final table. If Phil can get a good swing going and some real chips, he will feel it did not truely effect the outcome, but if he stays card dead, he will know it cost him a real chance at this title.

Red face Vegas always on my Mind... what's left of it...

I really think Phil Ivey has the best skills at poker... the most patience in upping an ante or pushing in his cards.... the silent but skillful art of figuring who is bluffing - who's not...
His stack isn't as large as Mooooooon's but Phil Ivey will take the Title,
the Cash and the Watch...

Let's shuffle up and Deal...
