Default Refrigerators @ Sahara

I have booked a week at the Sahara. Premium Non-Smoking room. I'd like to have or get a refrigerator for my stay to keep bottled water cold. Do these rooms come with a frige or will I have to "rent" one? If I have to "rent" one, what does Sahara charge?

Bob,

I just called the Sahara hotel to find out for you. I told them I was planning on staying there in the future and needed a fridge for my meds. It is a $10 plus tax per day charge.

If it's just a bottle or two, it might just be best to take an ice bucket, fill it with ice and stick in your bottle(s).

Doris

Wow Doris, that's way above and beyond the call of duty. Thank you. I was planning on buying a 12 pack of water and 6 pack of pepsi. I'd like to keep both cold. $60 is a little high. I may call to see if the premium rooms have a fridge in them.

...or just fill the sink with ice and you should be able to put quite a few more bottles/cans in there.

I have taken a collapsable cooler with me before and put ice and soda in it. The Dollar store did have small styrofoam coolers. Way cheaper than renting a fridge

Now that's a good idea. I'm betting that I can get a styrofoam cooler at Walmart. That's normally one of my first stops while in Vegas. Thanks again for the help, I really appreciate it.

Right, A styrofoam cooler is the best choice. $10. a day to rent a refrigerator is way too stiff. Use your $10. instead on the slot machine.

Well I normally stay away from the slots, but after my experience in a casino in France I may have changed my mind.

As stated by a couple other posters, put your water and sodas in a collapsible coolers and get the ice from the ice machine there at the Sahara.I always bring 2 coolers(one for sodas and water and the other for small container of coffee , creamer(powdered would be good) and straws and coffee cups).Of course you sneak a small 2-10 cup coffee maker in your luggage.
