    Default November 9 until 17

We'll be in Vegas again next November. We'll be staying at the Stratosphere in a Premium Tower Room.

Has anybody else stayed in a Premium Tower Room before? Please share your experiences. Any forum members in Vegas on these days for a meet and greet?

    See you in Vegas,
    Frank & Chantal

Sounds like you're all set for your trip.

From time to time (it seems) the STRAT will 'name' (or re-'name') their rooms with various titles. Many rooms are very much the same, they are just in different towers. The hotel was added on to as it grew throughout the years.

I looked at the website & found 'premium' not actually listed... but, did see the word "Premier" for several rooms --- all of which may just be a standard room. Differences might be what floor you are on (or what you have a view of). Hmmm.

My friend Steve stayed at the Stratosphere just 10 months ago for a 2-niter. I can remember him telling me the room was basic, but very clean. They offer good value there.... although you do forfeit the convenience of 'location' strip wise.

    Mister K,

Thanks for the info. Last time we were in Vegas we stayed in Sahara en walked the Strip back and forth every day. So the location doesn't bother me. We took the premier tower room because of it's possible nice Strip view. And another bonus is the fact that these rooms were renovated in 2008. When we were there in March we talked to some Dutch people staying at the Stratosphere and the said the rooms were good.

Well, we'll just see what happens. We don't really care about our room anyhow. As long as the bed is good, the TV is working and it's clean and in one piece, we're satisfied. Not planning to spend much time in the room anyhow. We want to take in every Las Vegas minute we can while we're there.

We'll probably see Ray Romano and Kevin James, Foreigner, Bette Midler, George Wallace, Terry Fator and Charo. The rest of the time we'll spend on gambling, drinking and eating. If there's any time left we'll sleep LOL.

    Question

Frank, you said "we", who's traveling with you? What days are each of your shows? Have you gotten a good deal on a rental car?

Us die hard LV nuts are hungry for details! lol

    Hey there,

We stands for my lovely girl Chantal and myself. We don't do rental cars, we walk we walk alot. The Strip back and forth at least once a day. We love to walk and feel Vegas every minute we're there.

Our days start at around 9.00 with a nice long shower. We start walking the Strip and usually take breakfast at the food court on the top floor of the Fashion Show Mall. For all those of you that are interested in showtickets for reduced rates: there's a ticketbox in that food court and there are never long waiting lines.......

During the day we walk the Strip, look at all the resorts, take pictures (we run our own trip report and travel advice website in Holland). We take the time to relax, enjoy a drink, etc.

Normally around 18.00 we're back at our hotel. We relax a little bit, take another nice and long shower and get ready for the evening. Depending on shows we're going to see we'll be back in the Hotel to freshen uo.

We're going to see Bette Midler on Wednesday, november 11th. We got a dinner package deal with 3 course dinner at Bradley Ogden Restaurant at Caesars Palace. price was 135 dollars per ticket

We're going to see George Wallace on Friday, november 13th. We got a dinner package deal with free tickets for the Flamingo Buffet. Main floor seating and the tickets are 60 dollars a piece.

We're going to see Charo at the Riviera on Sunday, november 15th. No special deals there. Tickets we're 125 dollars all together.

These are the shows we've already booked. We're now waiting for the ticket prices for Foreigner before we book the rest. Maybe we'll skipp Ray Romano and Kevin James.

We're soooo looking forward to this trip. We simply love every minute we can spend in Vegas.

Normally after a show we find a nice slot machine in one of our favourite casino's and play slots for a couple of hours, then walk back to our hotel and sleep.
