He even used slight of hand to slice open the bottom of a woman's fanny pack while engaging her in conversation and removing her ID, wallet and everything else in there, and she was completely clueless. Of course this was all set up by Travel Channel and he gave her a brand new fanny pack but everyone was shocked because they never believed it could happen to them. Of course if someone was to slice open my backpack then there is nothing you can do (hopefully you would feel the backpack suddenly getting lighter) but I now use one of my combination luggage locks and so far so good....I would even do that here in NYC where I live because Midtown Manhattan and the subway system is tourist pickpocket city!!! lol
