Wanted to take advantage of the 25 point new member sign-up, and enjoy a martini/or/manhattan at the VP bars while i am playing...

The bar next to the sports book (which has 9/6 JOB) wasn't giving out free drinks the last time I there. (Couple of months ago?) I've heard different anecdotes about this being an on-again/off-again policy so your YMMV.

You know, that's just not right. They're already taking your money, the least they can do is provide a drink or two, or three. I mean, it really benefits them in that the more you drink the less you stick to your budget. But I would never go there to begin with and now not ever, never, ever! Just plain sad.

We were at Wynn last week. Sat down at the Sports Bar and asked the waiter what the policy was for a comped drink. His reply, "Just put $20 in your machine." We did and our drinks were free.

A year ago, we did the same thing, but it was really strange. I lady came by, and took our red cards out of the machine and recorded the numbers, and wrote a comp/ I still don't know if our points were deducted or not. LOL
