    Default Best Pool

I never use the pools at the hotels, but in talking with other people the pool at the Monte Carlo is supposed to be really nice.

I think my first choice would be Mandalay Bay. Your 21yr old will love it.

Mandalay Bay is my top choice, your son would also love Hard Rock, not only is it his age bracket, but it's like a beach with sand, and swim up blackjack tables. The mirage is also a very nice, tropical pool.

I would agree with most that Mandalay Bay has a terrific pool. It would be my first choice for an all-around family pool with lots of different areas to enjoy. The pool at Caesars and Bellagio are beautiful, but tend to be more adult oriented. Mirage has an excellent pool as well and caters to all ages. If your 21 year old wants to be around young adults then the Hard Rock, Rio, and Palms would be good. Las Vegas has so many great choices, I'm sure any of the above mentioned pools would be fine. Good Luck!

    Default Luxor

I enjoy the pools at the Luxor because there are several of them which means that they don't get too overcrowded. There aren't that many kids around it either I have found.

The Rio has five pools. One with a sandy beach. My daughter (28) enjoyed it. But Mandalay Bay has a great pool area.
Life ain't always beautiful, but it's a beautiful ride.

Tough call, parents and a 21 yr old = boring. I did it with my 21 yr old. Some guy started talking to her pool side, he was 21 with his parents. But remember Mom is still sitting back on the lounge chair. With that in mind. MB has a nice pool but there will be an ample supply of younger kids. Luxor is a nice big cement slab. MC is ok but with the wave pool your back to younger kids. The big B and Caesars (my favorit) are right there but for the older folks. Mirage is good, Flamingo good, and believe it or not I like the pool at the Trop but it's as good as gone. A place for a 21 yr old would be the Palms and the first choice Hard Rock (check out their web cam at there web site). If it's his first trip maybe go with Mirage or the Flamingo for location. Show him the ropes this trip. Maybe do a walking tour, check out the pools so he gets a feeling for what he would like next time a round when mom isn't sitting on the lounge chair. Take a cab to the hardrock and the Palms.

Also, July is 115 degrees. sounds crazy, but that is TOO hot for a pool. The sun will roast you in minutes.

    IMO

Mandalay Bay has both a wave pool and a "lazy river." I think Monte Carlo has a lazy river too. Those are really fun. The pools at Bellagio are beautiful too.
