Went to see Love the other day. It is a theater in the round in a strange way. There are many different levels of seating and it is a very dark boring theater compared to the other theaters. We had seats in Section 204, row N, seats 1 and 2 that were on the end. At first I thought this is strange section and did not think I would see much, but it turned out this was a pretty good section after all, even though there was a railing to keep you from falling down to the lower section, that was on the side of the seating. I did enjoyed the first hour of the show, but the last half was slow and dark and just boring. There are some props that will block some viewers in section 200, 202 at the lower level of seating for a short while.

I do feel that most of the songs were chosen to the proper sets, only a few or more numbers were not working and needed more development. The trampoline scene was way too long and boring. I enjoyed KA and O so much more.

Sorry the show was not up to your expectations Desertgal.... i just loved it (no pun intended) when i saw it, each of the last 4 times. Maybe it's helpful that i'm a lover of Beatles music.

How did you like HERE COME'S THE SUN... n LUCY IN THE SKY WITH DIAMONDS... i was really impressed with those.

Yeah, I really liked Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, and An Octopusses Garden (??) The underwater part.

But there were other parts I thought they could have ramped up a bit. "O" is still my favorite as well.

Thanks for the review Marlene! We liked it and we had fairly good seats as well. It was a long time ago so I do not remember if it got boring. Lucy in the sky with Diamonds was great. I would go see it again.

Four times !!! Glad you can afford it, I sure can't.
I did like Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds and really really liked the underwater garden scene. Honestly, I cannot remember Here come's the Sun scene for some reason, maybe it was after the WWII scene? That would fit.
