LOL!!!!I always leave some money in the ashtray so I know I'll be able to get my car out of the airport...

In Vegas....once I'm in the room, I unpack..MAYBE do some ironing...but probably not.
Then, I'm on the casino floor looking to see if my favorite slot is available...if not, I just wander for a little bit.
BTW, regardless which casino I'm in...I have a favorite machine. LOL
Life ain't always beautiful, but it's a beautiful ride.

I always pat the outside of the plane before takeoff!
    Luck or fate?

If I'm traveling with someone, we usually hit a a breakfast buffet after checking in and freshening up. If I'm traveling alone, I find a slot and then a drink. Nothing says Vegas more then having a cocktail at breakfast time!!

Drive to In-N-Out on Maryland Parkway and have a late lunch/early dinner.

I pretty much take the same flight and arrive about 2 PM local time. After I've got my luggage and rental care I'm ready to eat.

Next stop the hotel to check in and drop off my luggage.

    Cool first things first

I never can sleep the night before a trip to Vegas. I'm too excited and also afraid I'll oversleep and miss my flight. We fly non-stop from Florida, and with crossing time zones, we are on a plane for almost seven hours, but get to Vegas only 4 hours later in the day time-wise than it was when we left. Can you spell jet-lag?
Our flights always get to Vegas in early afternoon and I've never been able to sleep on a plane, so a NAP is a must first thing on arrival! I try to get to sleep around 3:00pm, wake around 8:00 to shower, shave, dress, and then go find food. That is the ritual. After that, it is just Vegas and whatever spontaneous fun happens to be happening at any moment! I hate to admit it, but as I get older I find that I enjoy the daytime and early evening when it is not as crowded, loud, and overly intoxicated as late night. Usually I will stay out late only on the first night of a trip after my nap, and usually the last night of a trip is a late one too, just because I never want it to end. On the several nights in between, I'm usually up in my room before midnight, but up around 8:00am, ready for another day of adventure.
Three weeks to go!!!!! We'll be at The Golden Nugget May23-28! YAY!

    Good advice for FREE!

This almost seems like a job, but
    - pick up the car
    - In and Out Burger
    - Pick up cokes, water, and misc
    - check-in
    - unload
    - drop off car with Valet
    - get safe deposit box

And then I actually get to relax and gamble. That is why each item should be matched with one full day of stay. hehehehehe

Dump the suitcases in the room and grab a "What's Happening" magazine and find the closest lounge, order a martini, and go through it page by page to look for discounts/coupons and "what's happening" and where. Repeat the martini part of this ritual when necessary.....
