    Default Packing the Dog?

well we are leaving early Sunday morning for our Spring Break. I got out the suitcase and set it on my bed. Our new dog Vern Jumped in the suitcase and layed down. I told him he can't go and he got out and sulked down the hall. He came back with 2 squeekey toys dropped them in the case. I tried to explain to a dog that he is not going to vegas and either are his toys.

They are going to the puppy hotel at petsmart and we are going to South Point for 5 days. We have plans to soak up the sun. and do a little stuff. Kiss mini golf is on our list the top of the strat for the girls. See my Brothers and meet my niece Lily. We are going to eat ourselves into a food coma. This is our Spring break/18th nAnniversary/Robys birthday trip. Next trip is July for the tourney.

Cosmo allows dogs. I think that, if Vern can pony up for the room, he should be allowed to go!

ahhhhh the poor dog!!! All of Caesar's properties allow for the dogs. You may love South Point but at least the dog could go if stay at Caesar's properties - I don't know maybe MGM does the same thing then you could stay at NYNY I think and still be closer to Southpoint. Need to tell Southpoint to get with the program so you dog can go!!! AHHHHH see you in July Beach (bj)

Both Vern and Chloe are over the weight limit for Cesars. Chloe is 65 lbs and Vern is 55 lbs. It sucks we cant take them with us but they get a great place at petsmart.

When we come down in May we're bringing both of our dogs but we're driving. In October I am going to fly with one of them but Allegiant Airlines preferred soft kennels say 9" high in their measurements for under the seat. I've looked online at various pet sites and see most are 10.5" so I'm wondering if they would mind if I just kind of scrunched it down an inch and a half if they measured it. Has anyone had any problem doing that?

My two are to big to put in a travel bag. We always drive to Vegas but in a mazda 3 there is barely enough room for the girls in the back seat. Petsmart takes good care of my fourlegged kids. plus they get Kongs and Ice cream every day.

Don't know what it is about suitcases. Our cats would also find their way into our open suitcases and settle in for a nice nap. They also enjoyed hopping up and getting between us and the newspaper we were trying to read or actually laying on the paper if we were trying to read it at the table. Interestingly they would totally disappear if we set the pet carrier out----guess it meant something different than the suitcase!
