Thread: These are a few of my favorite things.

  1. Default favorite

The Steakhouse at Circus Circus is the best steakhouse anywhere in our opinion. We have not been in LV in two years so things could have changed. But since 1986, no trip to LV has occurred without a visit thereto. Try the porterhouse.

  4. Default Favorite Cafe and Restaurant

Favorite Cafe is the Courtyard Cafe at the Orleans for their Graveyard Breakfast Specials. I like the Bone In Ham Steak and Eggs along with hash browns and toast. The size of the ham steak fills the entire plate. Cost $4.49.

Favorite Restaurant is the Redwood at the Californian. I always get the 20 oz. Porterhouse Special (you have to ask for it since it is not on the menu). It comes with salad, potato, vegtable, bread and best of all an apple dumpling with ice cream for desert. All for under $20.

    Cool My favorites...

Cafe: Carson Street Cafe at Golden Nugget for good food, good service, and excellent people watching 24/7 at modest prices.

Restaurant:? Triple 7's Brewpub at Main Street Station for wings, sushi, and excellent microbrews. (The question mark denotes that this place would not meet the definition of a restaurant to most people, because it's more of a sports bar, but I will hit it at least once and try to hit it multiple times on any Vegas Trip!)

    Good advice for FREE!

The steak place on the 5th floor at Imperial Palace... good food, fair price.
Followed by the steak place at circus circus, cooked over the wood fire.
For the 1950 decor try the Peppermill.
With the high cost of food depending on where I am staying for a quick bite, at a cost of about $5.00, last year, I started eating at Mc Donalds. It was a lot cheaper than the burger in the Mirage for $14.00.

I really like DuPars at the Golden Gate. Thie meatloaf or burgers are excellent. Their home made pies are to die for.

Prime Rib Loft at the Orleans has mouth watering Prime Rib and great steaks at reasonable prices.

Always eat at Main street Station's Buffett. Quality food at low prices with the best looking atmosphere for eating .
