Second, Seat kicking children. First, parents who allow their children to kick the seat in the first place.

Crying babies. Yes, I know they're babies, yes I realize babies cry, but for the entire 3 hour flight without taking a breath?

    Default Annoyed

My husband is handicapped on our first time flying Southwest we had bulkhead seats after I sat down I was told that I could not hold my handbag on my lap I had to put it in overhead (no way) lucky my granddaughter was sitting behind us so I gave her my bag to keep during the flight and then found out that there were no trays in bulkhead seating so we had to hold coffee in our hands this was very uncomfortable...so on our way home we sat in the row behind bulkhead...don't understand their reason for me not being allowed to keep my handbag in my possession and to put it in overhead....has anyone else had this problem...Southwest is much cheaper but for total comfort I would think about another airline especially when bulkhead seating is necessary
Could not put it under my seat as it was blocked off..

babush- that is standard for all airlines. any 'luggage' has to be under the seat or in overhead bin during takeoff/landing. a purse would be considered luggage.

I can tolerate babies crying (only because there is only so much the parent can do) but the kicking of the seat- or the constant opening/closing of the tray table drives me nuts. As I have allergies to certain perfumes...this would be a huge issue for me, thankfully I havent come across it yet.

The most obvious annoyance to me is when the person in front of me pushes his seat back the farthest he can as soon as the plane departs. I guess I am the type of person who always thinks of others and never push my seat back even on long flights. But I guess we always have some who don't. At least if I have to get up for a break I can pull on the seat in front in order to squeeze out (ha ha).

    Inconsiderate people!!!

We were in Las Vegas in February and on the flight going there someone a few rows in front of us decided to polish their nails. The smell was horrible & the stewardess had to ask her to put it away.

Two words,EVERYBODY ELSE!!! I had a guy with his head literally in my lap once. I said if we were going to be that intimate we should introduce ourselves. He wouldn't budge, so I brushed the salt from my pretzels on my hands over his head. He was wearing a suit and probably had to go directly to a meeting from the airport. He literally had "salt and pepper hair" when I was done with him, but hey, I gave him his chance!

    Default Annoys when flying...

Having my knees put into my chest by the seat in front of me; Not having pillows or blankets on the plane; People who want to talk when you haven't said a word. (don't get me wrong - I love yakking with someone, but don't go to extremes to keep me from my nap, my Ipod, etc.) Love kids, but keep them PLEASE from kicking the seat!

Thank goodness we are only a 2 hour flight away from Vegas which means less time dealing with people around us. Here are some examples of us dealing with other passengers:

    1. The dude coming back from Vegas with nothing more than a t-shirt and shorts. Bad breath, no shower time for several days and sleeping next to me legs splayed out & an armrest not being able to keep his bloated body on his side of the seat. Yuck.

    2. Fidgety bathroom gal who needs for me to move out of the way every 1/2 hour. She also can't get comfortable in her seat and moves around constantly. Highly distracting!

    3. Kids that kick your seat or rock the seat in front.

    4. The guy sitting behind that grabs my headrest as leverage trying to get out of his seat. Hey, stop shaking me awake!

    5. The business man way in the back with me trying to get his oversized bag out of the overhead compartment before they even open the door to let us out. You almost knocked me out with that wheeled behemoth and now I have to be face to face with your ass while you stand there for 10 minutes waiting for the people in front to get moving. Sit down, we are not going anywhere for awhile.
