Well, Mike.. it is a lot of food.

The idea of eating a late supper & then having most of the next day is a GOOD ONE.

Myself, i would do dinner at Paris -- at like 9pm, or 930pm. Then breakfast at P.H. -- somewhere light for lunch -- next, finish up with Harrah's for supper.

Finally, god forbid - if you still have room... you could dash in somewhere for a crepe or some custard.

What? Only 4 places? I was thinking something like 5 or squeezing in a 6th for dessert. Don't ask where I'll put the food, but I'd still try to hit as many places as time would allow.

Always need a snack watching somebody being tortured.

Good luck on the binge. I wish I was with you!

I never take food out of the buffet. I make Suzy put it in her purse ....

I'm not sure whether I'll do it, because the procedure would be to eat at one place, go stand in line at the next place, eat at that place, go stand in line at the next place, etc.

and the food digests while you're standing in the 2 hour line at the "next place" right?

Mike, when are you planning on doing this? Calendar wise?

As for day-wise... the weekend makes it a bit of a challenge. Can it be done? Yes--but, a lot of time will be devoted to waiting in line. The RIO (which i feel is only 'FAIR' at best), is off-strip.

If you load up pretty well at one meal - you really dont feel like eating much at the next one - even 3 hours later. You just saunter in, order a drink & maybe pick out one or two items. I know this. I've done it. It's like the imperial buffet ---- i fit that one in ONLY for a piece of cheesecake. The rest of the buffet is often sad.

    Jane,

All part of the strategy. My thought was to somehow hit all 7 buffets within the 24 hours. It wasn't so much for eating that much food, but only to say that I did it. Plus, I've never eaten at the buffet at Caesar's Palace or Imperial Palace. I haven't eaten at the buffet at Planet Hollywood since it became Planet Hollywood. And it's been too many years (maybe as many as 10 years) since I've eaten at any of the other places. So, to make my rounds in a relatively cheap fashion, I'll [try to] hit them all within 24 hours.

I was hoping to get there over the Labor Day weekend, but that looks like a bust. So, it'll probably be over Thanksgiving weekend.

Back to Jane's waiting in line to digest. Dual purpose for that time. But I can hit Caesar's Palace, Harrah's, Imperial Palace, Flamingo, Paris and Planet Hollywood without driving anywhere. Will only need to drive to Rio, so that'll have to be the initial late night dinner to start off the 24 hours.

...and were you planning to gamble at all? Sounds like you'll be spending all your quality gambling time waiting in interminable lines.
