Sorry to hear that.

I was speaking to my daughter as I read this. My daughter has worked for Seminole Indian Tribe in Florida for over 10 years. Seminole Tribe (Florida) owns all Hard Rocks worldwide except for the Vegas and London location.

If you have heard Harrahs was interested in Hard Rock, that take over would only be the Vegas location, nothing to do with Seminole and all of their Hard Rock and other casinos. Just FYI. Thanks, Glen.

That's very sad news...but I doubt that his depression had anything to do with Harrahs..

Hard Rock is owned by the Morgans Hotel Group...
Harrahs recently took over Planet Hollywood and has shown no interest in Hard Rock...but rumors are flying that they are taking a look at the Palms.

I have a friend that has worked there for 9yrs. There's a lot more to this story that will come out. He was making $1.4 mil a year in salary.
The HR has been going through a big internal audit and after that is done they are going to have a federal audit of some kind. He basically jumped before he was pushed is what my friend told me. Something about a BIG skim that was going on with high rollers comps that were being turned into cash and being pocketed all the way up at the top. A LOT of money!

Hard Rock Hotel top executive found dead in Summerlin home.

The top executive of the Hard Rock Hotel was found dead in his Summerlin home Tuesday morning, the hotel and the state’s top gaming regulator confirmed.

Las Vegas police Lt. George Castro told The Associated Press on Tuesday a person was found dead of a gunshot wound inside the home of Hard Rock Hotel President and Chief Operating Officer Randy Kwasniewski. He did not confirm whether the person was Kwasniewski.

Gaming Control Board Chairman Dennis Neilander, however, said Tuesday afternoon that he was notified by attorneys for Hard Rock’s owners, Morgans Hotel Group, that Kwasniewski had died.

The Hard Rock Hotel also issued a statement saying, “We are extremely saddened by the loss of Randy, and our hearts and prayers go out to the family. We do not know any further details at this time.”
