We ate at Sambas Brazilian Rest. at the Mirage last week. They start by bringing salsa and olive oil with lots of garlic in it so you can dip your bread! Very tasty! Then the Brazilian Radizio experience begins! Good thing I like meat because they kept bringing it....and bringing it...! Very tender and flavorful. They come to your table with a skewer full of meat and they cut off a piece at a time. You get a little piece of sausage, then steak, 2 different chickens, pork, ribs, and so on. If you have room for more, they'll bring it! Carrots and rice and beans were served with it. We ordered a pitcher of Sangria. I've had better elsewhere, but it was still good. Service was good, ambiance was light and fun. No room for dessert! I would return to this restaurant again!

Thanks, cindyinnj. I plan on eating there in about 3 weeks. Did you need reservations? Also my dinner companion doesn't eat red meat or pork. In that case, is the Rodizio Experience worth ordering or do you suggest she order something else off the menu?

Hi stuffarooni...I had reservations, but don't know if they are actually needed. Call them when you get to LV and just ask. As far as ordering the rodizio experience...go for it! You can get as much or as little as you want. It is about $35 (ish) per person. Your companion can order the salmon, it is also very good! Enjoy!

The day of the week that you eat there may determine if you need resevrations. I just ate there with my wife last Friday. We had reservations for 8pm. They were definitely needed. Even with reservations, we were not seated until 9pm. That was my only complaint for the restaurant. The food was and service were excellent. The drinks a little expensive. Hope you enjoy it.

Can you tell me what time your reservation was for?
To me, if they do not honor the reservation time, some freebies should have been offered. I say this only because, if you do not show up for your reservation, then they have the right to charge you $60. Fair is fair.
Not very professional!

Our reservation was for 8pm on Friday, November 11th. We were told at 8pm to come back at 8:30 or to wait at the bar. At 8:30 we returned and were told to wait at the bar. At about 8:55pm we were seated. I did complain politely but it fell on deaf ears. By 9pm, I really didn't care anymore...I was just hungry.
As said the food was great...and I agree, they will charge you $60 bucks on your CC if you are a no show. (Nothing free was offered)
On a side note...while we were waiting in the casino...we won enough money to pay for our dinner....so that is probably another reason that I didn't complain more.
Hope this helps.

We dined there last May... they also offer seafood and chicken. they served shrimp on the skewer, and salmon on a plate. We passed on the chicken so I can't remember how it was prepared or served.

We ate at Samba last year. We had reservations (because if I know where I want to eat, I make reservations to be on the safe side). Our reservations were early - 5 or 5:30 I think. I've found that if we're eating that early, reservations aren't really needed, especially on a weekday. I just prefer to make reservations.
We were there in October and about one month out I booked a reservation on-line (Mirage website) for 7:30. Only had to wait about 10 minutes for them to clear a table and make some room.
The food was GREAT, as always.
