This is funny:
I will be spending Thanksgiving in Las Vegas with my oldest son and his girlfriend and Eileen and her kids will be spending Thanksgiving with her X and his family! Ya gotta love it!

My granddaughter and I will be flying into Chicago to visit with my son and his wife, and hubby will be leaving Thursday morning for a Duck Hunters show in Arkansas. Other son just recently went to New Orleans on a construction crew, and daughter will be with her in-laws. First time, ever, that we have been separated at Thanksgiving.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Safe journey to all of you and your families who traveling near and far during this holiday season.

Steve and all members who are in Las Vegas for Thanksgiving, have a
great trip and tell us all about a Vegas Thanksgiving when you get back.

I'm cooking for 10 tomorrow. My prep work and baking starts tonight.
It's exhausting, but I love it. Then Friday we start putting up our Christmas
decorations. Love this time of year. :D

I have just returned from two weeks in Afghanistan so Thanksgiving will have even more meaning for me this year. I also have my own Marine back in the USA after his eight month deployment in Iraq.

So when everyone is sitting down for their Thanksgiving dinner with family and friends, please take a minute to think about, pray for, and thank in your own private way all those brave and very young men and women in our military as they provide all of us the opportunity to enjoy this holiday, our trips to Vegas to have fun, and all that we hold dear in this great country of ours.

Glad you and your Marine are home safe. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving, my son in law came home from Iraq in August so it was truly a blessed day for us.

Please keep these service men and women in your thoughts and prayers through out the year. Thanks
