well, I actually did have to "slither" between a row of parked cars, and 2 police motorcycles, with the police standing right there. They had just stopped a lady in a van directly behind my car. They made her move her van, so I could get out, but they didn't move their bikes. The worst part: it was 1:30 a.m., and I had 4 long islands in me! And I didn't hit a thing!! Talk about being nervous! More "party" details to come. For now, it's off to work.

Then:

Strange Brew at One Six tonight 9-1. Eastside Cannery--come check out the beautiful view. Costume contest judged at 11:30. I'll get there around 10:45.

Thanks for the b-day greetings everyone. I'll get my party report posted soon. It's just been a killer at work, trying to get XMAS set. I did a 16.5 hour marathon yesterday, and at least another 15 tonight.

I did have an enjoyable b-day though. Some of the same-ole same-ole, and a few unexpected surprises.
