INDULGE YOUR TASTEBUDS WITH A DIVERSE SELECTION OF DINING OPTIONS AT LUXOR

When the readers of Gourmet Magazine recently selected Luxor Resort & Casino as one of the top 50 hotels in the United States, they did much of their balloting with their palates.

How they arrived at their conclusion is understandable, as the Egyptian-themed resort located on the famed Las Vegas Strip offers a variety of culinary delights, from seafood to steak to Asian cuisine and snacks, served at a host of eateries ranging from formal restaurants to casual cafes and delis.

Isis
Dine under stars that twinkle indoors and experience a wondrous gourmet journey at Isis, located on the Mezzanine Level overlooking the Luxor casino. A recent recipient of the Millennium 2000 International Award of Excellence as one of America's Top 10 Gourmet Rooms and also one of America's Top 100 Restaurants in the 20th Century by the International Restaurant & Hospitality Rating Bureau, Isis sets a new standard in fine dining. Upon entering Isis along the intimate colonnade walk of Caryatid statues and through glass doors with gold-embossed "Wings of Isis," it is apparent you'll dine in a manner befitting royalty. Start your meal with a sumptuous appetizer of Smoked Salmon and Buckwheat Blinis with Creme Fraiche and Caviar or Poached Oyster served over Creamed Spinach with a touch of Pernod. For a main course, indulge in Magret of Duck with Cassis and Ginger Sauce, Lobster Tail en Croute with Seafood Mousse in White Zinfandel Sauce or Grenadine of Veal Loin sautéed with Sorrel, Dry Vermouth Sauce. Just be sure to save room for dessert, as Isis specializes in magnificent flambe' treats. Dinner is served from 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday - Tuesday. Select from Spinach and Crab Salad with Sundried Tomato Vinaigrette, Stuffed Prawns of Aswan filled with a superb gruyere cheese and herb mixture and served with a Lemon Caper Sauce, or Sautéed Halibut with a Mustard Cream Sauce.
