Hello from Nashville, TN !!

Hi everyone, im from Nashville, and I absolutely love LV. Im into texas hold-em - low limit and tournament, Omaha hi \ lo, black jack and an occasional craps shooter. I also like to eat, who doesn't ?? but not into the high dollar ala carte dinners, so the buffets are always on my list to try or a good Deli for a hot pastrami sammie !!

Last time I was in Vegas - 3 yrs ago, i was sick for 2 out of the 4 days :p, so didnt eat much or play much, and am really looking forward to my trip in October.

If anyone has any good hot spots or decent shows to recommend - that dont break my bank, suggestions are always appreciated. :cool:

Welcome, RaeJ. I'm sure you'll find plenty of information on food and shows here. For instance, if you use the search feature, above, and type in the word, "Pastrami," you will get a list of threads that have discussed that. I understand that you don't frequent the a la carte places but, the good news is that, due to the economy, a lot of them have instituted prix fixe menus. At the Mirage, for instance, you can go into four of their restaurants and get a nice meal for $29.99 pp, as opposed to what it would normally cost. I think they're still doing this. Check their website before you go, though.

As Lori mentioned the search feature helps for specific interests. Remember to search newest first as things come and go frequently in our ever changing favorite city.

..and if you do not find it then ask away... someone here has been there done that and will give you thier honest opinion!
