This show is just fabulous. The balcony is better than close to the front, the overall view is much more surreal. I've been three times and about 10 times in London and other places.
The theatre is open for viewing I think on Tuesday late morning. You'll need to check that because I'm not too sure of the timings and the day but it's a joy to behold.
You won't be able to take photos at the show but just to see the theatre is worth the trip in itself.
You'll absolutely love it. I can't praise it high enough, certainly up there with CDS and Jersey Boys.
MisterKeno get yourself there. I'm amazed you've not seen it yet. The music just makes the hair on the neck stand up. Love it, love it, love it.

I've been in the balcony twice and down in Golden Circle 3 times...
To me, theres no comparison...GOLDEN CIRCLE ROCKS!!!
Not being familiar with the story or music, the balcony left me cold...
...LITERALLY! The PHANTOM theatre is probably the coldest in Vegas
and the balcony was freezing (it wasn't just me...) a couple folks left
due to the AC. It's cold on the floor too so bring something to put on
as the temp drops during the Show.
The first time I sat down front made all the difference in the world. I could
see the actors faces...pick up all the words to both the lines and songs...
...BIG DIFFERENCE. Now I'm a fan and will continue to see it again from
time to time. PHANTOM probably has the most elaborate costumes and stage
sets of any production in town, and sitting up close to see it is WONDERFUL!
Sure, you get the bigger picture from the balcony, but detail.....NO.

I've seen it twice - both times up close - first from the 6th row, second from the 7th. I don't think I'm really interested in seeing it from the balcony eventhough I had to turn around to see the chandelier, it really wasn't that much of a problem.
But my granddaughter who turns 21 in the spring is a big Phantom fan, and I plan to take her to Vegas for her birthday. I will probably get us seats a little further back on the floor so she can get a full view of the chandelier (maybe somewhere in row p thru s).
It is a fabulous show. The second time I saw it I appreciated it even more than the first. The performers are wonderful - the male and female leads have excellent voices(at one point she hits a high note that I swear must be 'e' over 'c' over 'high c').
