New Vegas TV Series - Pawn Stars on HISTORY channel

There is a new tv series called PAWN STARS, which is a weekly reality show about the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop in Las Vegas, on the History Channel and it airs on Sundays nights at 10pm ET. The premiere episode aired this past Sunday night....

I LOVED IT!!!

I didn't know what to expect...it's sort of a pawn shop version of Antiques Roadshow meets Orange County Choppers. I thought it would be boring but much to my surprise, it's a great learning show. I thought it was a hoot to watch these guys shooting that canyon in the dessert, but the funniest is the Grandpa. I love his comments and applaud his work ethic of wearing a dress shirt and tie - even in a pawn shop. It was funny to watch him lose the bet :)

It's actually been on for a month or so as I have 8 shows DVR'ed since the start. It had 2 new episodes a week when it premiered. Now. it's down to one per week.

Wow, I completely missed this thread when it first popped up and now I'm upset. Sounds like the show is right up my alley.

At any rate, I did a quick internet search and it appears the place is located at 713 Las Vegas Blvd, South. It's just 2-3 blocks north of Charleston.

There was one review (on Yahoo Local) that said it was a "high end" shop.

the first run is on Sundays@10pm with repeat on Thursdays@10pm.
