July 17th - 24th

We flyout of Phili at 7:00Am and arrive in LV at 9:30 AM on the 17th. 1st 2 nights at Flamingo. Then 2 nights at TI (never stayed there before!), final 3 nights at MB (my wife's favorite). FOr teh first time in 6 years we don't have any shows planned. Matter of fact, we don't have anything planned. Any suggestions on some good shows. We've haven't seen any of the CDS shows in Vegas because we've seen tow locally and they were too out there for us.

Have a great trip! As for shows, you should look under the Shows and Entertainment tab on the main forum page because there are a lot of great reviews and recommendations by the members of the board to be found. Also - starting today CHARO begins a five month engagement at The Riviera.

Hi Seablast,

At the TI ask for a "high South-Strip facing room" and you will be able to see all the way from the Mirage Volcano, past the Ballagio Fountains, all the way down to Mandalay Bay (so long as that annoying City Center doesn't ruin that view now).

Have a great time and if you get a chance to see the Jersey Boys, do!

Some of the shows are dark this time of year. Maybe try BlueMan Group or any of the Mystere shows...

We will be out there July 19-25...so maybe we can have a mini ELV meet??

seablast: I am excited too, but only cautiously so. I came down with a severe cold on Tuesday and I am still recovering. I leave early Sat morning. I have my fingers crossed that I will be 'good enough' by then. I took yesterday and today off from work. Although it's hard to relax and take it easy. I will probably wrestle my luggage down in a few hours.

this time staying at the HGVC Las Vegas Hilton on the strip. Am looking forward to having all the extra sq footage this trip.

No pre planning this time....we are just going to see what happens each day.:D
