Hi Everyone!

My name is Anthony, 27 single male from England, UK and I have booked myself up for 5 nights at Planet Hollywood. I shall be there just on my own chilling out for the days and nights Im there, enjoying the Vegas atmosphere, hopefully getting lucky in the casinos.

Im staying in their fountain view room which is just awesome I was amazed to see just how big the rooms are, an impressive stylish marbled bathroom and a huge 42 inch plasma tv, good times!! They have given my a three night complimentary stay and the remainding nights at a special casino rate.

The hotel itself just looks amazing as I know they had a big refurb a few years ago, my favourite areas have to be the check in area lobby and then loads of fountain style looking lights either sife of you as you go up the esculator into the casino, with the colouful orb just above you. Such a huge place too.

Im planning to have a look around the other casino hotels on the strip and will taking loads of pics too. So anyone else staying at PH in the Summer?

Yes, I'm there 3-4 times per year. I'm only an hour by plane and about 4-5 hours by car. I only stay a few days because I can go pretty often and there's not that much travel time involved. Maybe someone on these boards will be at the Planet Ho this summer too

Great sounds like you enjoy your visits to Vegas, my flight is for 10 hours though from London direct to Vegas but I am a good flyer so it doesn't bother me too much. Hopefully if I have a really good win in the casinos I might return after Christmas. Do you stay at a hotel on the strip? The room I had just has an amazing view of the belaggio fountains so I just can't wait. Am really trying to save up a lot of spending money this time round also.

I stay with whomever offers me the best deal. If I fly in, I try to stay on the strip since I won't have a car. If I drive in, anything goes!! I stayed at the PH once. Had a vew of CCP. I wish you extremely good luck and I hope you are able to get the elusive jackpot!!

Planet Hollywood caters to a younger crowd, so you picked a great spot for yourself.

Being on my way to geezerhood, I haven't made the place a priority to visit, but it is on the to do list, possibly for my August trip.

Best of luck. Sounds like you're already getting jazzed up for the trip. Can't wait to see your pics.

Thanks ChicChas,

Yes the photos will be amazing providing I don't take any silly drunk ones lol :D Yes PH does seem to cater for the younger guests but I did see many older guests in there too who seemed to enjoy themselves. Especially at night PH is just buzzing!

I don't know WHAT I WAS THINKING OF!!!

Yes, I do know what I was thinking of. I was thinking of Hard Rock. I feel soooooo stoooooooopid.

I have been to PH and agree, the transformation it is beautiful. I always stop there when in town. Gambling there, I've had moderate success.

Sounds great Anthony! I know you will have fun. If you want some good Asian food try P.F. Chang's there in PH. It is really good! We eat there every trip. If you play poker, they have a really neat poker room too. I really like it and the chairs and tables are really nice. Good room for some day tournaments. Be sure and give us a trip report after you get home. We love reading about everyone's fun trips. Win big and have fun!!
