This may sound stupid but the airlines still send paper tickets? In the mail?
Here in Toronto and all of Canada we get an email giving us the confirmation number and 24 hours before the flight you can check in online or when you get to the airport you print out your boarding pass at the kiosk and then just go up to the counter to check your bags. If you do not need to check any, you just go straight to the USA Customs line. I believe if you want paper tickets to be sent to you there is a service charge for each ticket. But I am not sure. I am pretty sure Air Canada and Westjet no longer do this.

We in Canada pre-clear USA Customs at our airport, not at the airport in the States that you are arriving at. We have to still take our bags with us that are being checked when going through Customs, but then after Customs we then walk over and hand the bags to a handler who will put them on a conveyor belt and then we proceed through security clearance.

Hey Jacqui...I know how you're feeling, (T - 13 for us), although we only have an e-ticket, not the "real" thing...but I did print it out and keep looking at it ! lol :D

I do the same when I get my email confirmation, I print it out too and look at it off and on up til when I go.

It's not very often you get a 'real' ticket nowadays. But because we're booked into the V-Room (Virgin Lounge) we needed tickets for that and our luggage tags, etc. We can still check in online though.

Besides Vegas movies I've been watching the travel channel for all the sights of Vegas too Y2J2006!

Well Jacqui as you know I will be arrived a couple of days in advance of you in order to warm up all the slots for your mum to hit on lol
I have a huge collection of Vegas themed movies going all the way back to the 1940's and all the Travel Channel shows recorded from tv so I have been programming my own 24/7 Vegas channel for weeks now!!

I wish I had that many movies JR7110! Although I don't pay much attention now to the few that I watch - I'm too busy admiring the scenery! lol ... I hope you get a few hits on those slots before loosening them back up for my mum! :D

No problema. I'm friendly with the owner of the rental agency. She usually upgrades me for no charge. If not, I'll rent a U-Haul trailer on my way to the airport.
