Wishing to be in Vegas....Stuck in VA.

Hello my name is Adam and I am so glad I found this board. I got to go to Vegas two years ago and I love that City (and I am a country boy:D). I just wish I didnt live so far away. But I get to go back in August and plan on trying to make it a yearly trip (unless I win the lottery then it might be monthly). I cant wait to get on the board and meet new people. Talk about Vegas and see some of the wonderful pictures posted on the boards.

Opps, sorry Adam about missing the part about you getting to go in August till I re-read your post. Happy your getting to go and it's not that far off. When you get hooked on Vegas, that's it. Ya just gotta keep trying to find a way to get back again. To bad we are missing each other by a month. We have a trip planned in September. I would guess there will be someone from ELV board that you might be able to meet up with. Check it out as it gets closer. Hope you have a great time.

Oh yeah I love Las Vegas, The energy, the people it was a blast. I stayed in at the Stratosphere. It was a very nice hotel. I wish we would have had a Strip view from our room but we could see the Rampart :D from our room. Me and my buddy did the guy thing alot while we were out there but I loved just waking down the strip and seeing the hotels. We had originally planned to visit the same week they imploded the stardust but my friend couldnt get off from work that week :(. We did the walking of the Strip from MGM to The new Frontier where we watched Mud Wrestling (it was fun, hate its no longer there). I saw a lot of great thing like Bellagio fountains and the MGM Tigers. I loved downtown (its the only place I hit a little bit of jackpot at Mermaids) We had a great meal at the Bay City Diner (and a great shrimp cocktail) and at the New Orleans Buffet. We saw bite at the Strat. I thought it was very good. We wanted to catch another show but ran out of time. This time we are going to do more casino hoping and check out the hotels. We also plan to eat a Marrakesh and the Bellagio breakfast buffet (I love a great breakfast). Everything else will be tofers from the LVA MBR or the American Casino Guide. I cant wait.
