Short, Solo Trip ..(Wife and daughter are headed East, so I have a free weekend)

Depart Killeen, TX at 9, arrive LV around 12:130 PM. Depart Sunday AM at 8:30.

Staying at Bally's as usual. Booked on the "Reel Rewards" offer ($300 in slot play).

No shows planned, no dinners (although Bally's Steakhouse or The Range will most likely bein the plans).

Good luck on your trip!

I've always enjoyed staying at Bally's due to large rooms and a great location.
I heard they've temporarily closed the sports book.

If you happen to go downstairs, can you please let me know if any of the stores or "food court" restaurants have closed (Sbarro, deli, etc.)?

I look forward to your trip report!

I always mean to do a trip report, but alas, laziness kicks in.

I've discovered the relaxing benefit of being a Diamond player, and the free visit to the Health Spa. Usually visit it once a day, and spend about 45 minutes going through the whirlpool, dry sauna, wet sauna, etc. Very very nice change of pace, and relaxing. (And, I laugh everytime they hand me the bottle of water and say. "Remember to stay hydrated ". (It IS Vegas, and I do my best to stay hydrated all the time).

As for the Sportsbook, it was open in March when I was last there. But then it was March Madness, believe at the Sweet 16.

Saturday is the Preakness ....I would expect the Sportsbook to be open for that. I will keep an eye out for what is closed, etc. I Know Bally's cramped down the hours of the Sidewalk Cafe a lot, and basically turned the Mexican Cantina next door into a mini-Sidewalk Cafe during the closing times, with a plus-up to their menu.

All that aside .... trip is basically free .... how free it is depends on how much of the gambling stake I come back with.
