Ready for a pre-trip report? Ready or not, I've got one. LOL
Be leaving Thursday morning 'bout 5:15 to get to the airport at 6:00. Gotta catch a 7:30 flight to somewhere,
uh, where am I going?......
oh, VEGAS, of course.
Got a limo reserved to get me to the Rio where I will check in and wait for my daughter to appear around 1:00 and we will visit then it's off to the Venetian where I will check in again and get my $250 free play they have so graciously given me.
Thursday night we will be going to see Elton on free tickets from Harrahs then on to eat at Rao's and use a $50 food credit from Caesars. I'll sleep at Venetian and Candy will sleep at Rio and Friday...
we will meet up somewhere and do some stuff together. The friends who are coming with her want us all (5 ladies) to go eat at some fancy restaurant that night and then go night clubbing.
And somewhere along the way I will be hitting the slots.
Returning home Saturday. Flight leaves Vegas at 7:00pm. Gets back into DFW at 11:30pm CST.
Gonna be neat. Candy and I don't get to see each other much. Eventhough we only live about 15 miles apart, her work schedule and two kids keep her busy, and we haven't seen each other in about 3 months. We have to go to Vegas to get to see each, LOL. And we will relish this time together.
