I got to the dinner buffet at 6:00 PM. Even though I had line passes, there was no need. There was very little line waiting to get in. We were quickly seated pretty close to the entrance and to the buffet. Here’s a sampling of what they had to offer:
Salad Station – Made-to-order salads. You pick from romaine and mixed greens, and then tell the person making you salad which of the 10-12 veggie and cheese options you want, along with a choice of about 10 dressings. They’ll mix it and plate it up for you.
Mediterranean Section – I noticed cous cous and stuffed grape leaves, but didn’t get anything from this area.
Asian – This is where I spent most of my appetite. They had fried won tons, beef show fun, orange chicken, bok choy, about 6 kinds of sushi along with wasabi and pickled ginger, soups, pan fried dumplings, steamed buns shu mai, fried rice, steamed rice, and a variety of dipping sauces. I’m not a sushi eater, but I liked the sushi made with rice and cooked shrimp, and I love wasabi.
Seafood – There were a few entrees, which I skipped, along with the standard cold crab legs and large peeled shrimp.
Mexican – Again, another area I passed by. They had beef fajitas, tortilla chips and a choice of toppings, and Mexican rice. There were a few other things I don’t remember.
American – Turkey wrapped in bacon (a little dry), pork loin, St Louis ribs, prime rib, chicken, baked potatoes.
Italian – Eggplant Parmesan, a few pasta dishes, and 3 types of pizza (cheese, pepperoni, and veggie)
Desserts – A pretty large looking selection of cakes and pastries, and a few types of gelato/ice cream. I didn’t have the room.
I like this buffet. I think it’s one of the best in town, ranking right up there with Wynn, Bellagio, Aladdin, and Paris. At about $22 for dinner, I think it’s a great deal for variety and quality of food.
