I know some people don't like them, but I think the GO rooms at Flamingo are pretty cool looking.
Congrats on the winning streak.

OK..... Because of popular requests I'll reveal the secret  locations:
THE Cigar Machine is in the Flamingo near the X Theater/main Restrooms
The Double Diamond is in Ballys in the Old high Limit area on the South Wall It was the middle machine
The Blazing 7 Machine is in Ballys in front of the old High Limit area on the main floor
The 4XDiamond .25 machine (great $720 payout for a quarter machine) is in the IP to the right of the escalator going to the Teahouse. Its one of the low flat top machines.
The Lucky Four Leaf Clover machine is in the Dollar World section of Harrahs. I hit it for $640 last year too. Its the machine on the right when looking at the two there.
The bank of 5 Double Diamond $1 machines in Flamingo give good play.
The five line .25 Diamond Solitaire Machines in the quarter area of Ballys main floor gave my wife awesome play.
If I was back on the Strip I would play any and all of these machines.

you do realize that you should be demanding a cut of the profits from Harrah's, because after posting the secret locations there will now be a stampede of ELV members storming those machines over the next several months!!!

I wish everyone could get some action out of them. They WERE hitting better last year...before they were made multi-denominational. I got some good hits because we played a LOT over the last week.

I had to pull my W2-G forms out to answer this one:
The Cigar hit at 948am on Sat 3/21/09
The Double Diamond hit at 1128am on 3/18/09 and the Blazing 7 hit just a few minutes before.
The 4xDiamond hit was around 1130am or so on 3/15/09
The Lucky 4 Leaf Clover hit was around 11am on 3/21/09
Wow.....In looking at it most of my big hits over the last few years have been morning to early afternoon. Of course thats when I like to play as the casinos are not crowded and I have my choice of machines. :)

Wow! That's interesting. I usually don't play at that time of the day because it seems slow and like I'm the only one feeding it! :eek:Kinda like eeny meeny miny mo! Hard to pick one when there are thousands just sitting there! :o
Thanks for posting the info! You must think I'm weird, superstitious or something like that for wanting to know when....and well, yeah, I'm weird! LOL!:D

Funny, my father and brother in law always play after 12am. Their thinking is that people have warmed the slots up for them and at that time they're ready to payout! :D
Thanks Bama, for sharing the photos of your wins....and ALL the ADDITIONAL information:) You helped me several months ago, when I questioned where the Cigar Machine(s) could still be found. My husband's mission is to search for every Cigar Machine on the Harrah's end of the strip! I made sure he saw your win on "his" machine!
It's also encouraging to see wins happening. The word out regarding slot wins has been discouraging lately. When we see wins....there is always chance it will happen to us. Gee, guess that's why its called gambling
What is the cigar machine and what does it look like. We are headed to Vegas on the 14th.

I am of the theory that the machines hit late at night early morning, say between 1 am and 5am. This seems especially true for the blazing 7's at Flamingo in the back area nearest the sportsbook. Another rule of thumb for me is before you sit at a machine, look around and see how much foot traffic is around this machine. Of course the casinos want people to see machines hitting as oppposed to machines in discreet locations. I used to frequent AC when I lived up there and if you had a Chinese lady standing behind you waiting for that machine when there were others available you were at a good machine. LOL:)
whoa those are some nice hits
I would like just ONE of those on any given trip!!!!

Hey Bama, I just wanted totell you I paid a short visit in June to your Cigar machines and it was looking so good...But I got nothing. :( It was fun while it lasted though!
Thanks for letting me know the machine is still there......Looks as if it will be March 14 2010 before I get to play it again.......

Wow, awesome wins! I especially liked the jackpot you won on the double diamond. I used to always play those, but never won much off them. Also, the room you stayed at looked nice.

I think you're right about when machines hit. I never do good gambling until about 1 am. I was gambling at Harrah's in Council Bluffs, IA and was kicking butt on video poker progressive quarter machines around 2 AM. Every machine I played I got great hands, but of course no Royal Flushes though. I think when I stopped I was up $300. I went back around 11 AM and could barely get a winning pair on a hand on any machine I played.
