Three of us went to the Wynn buffet for dinner on Tuesday night, 10/11. We got there around 5:45, early enough to make it to a show afterward. We had two complementary dinner buffets, which also allowed us to go through the “invited guest” line, but there was no need that night, or maybe because it was early. There was no line. The dinner buffet is $31.95 ($33.95 on weekends). We were seated quickly, close to the buffet, which cut down on walking.

The buffet is set up in a large semi-circle (semi-rectangle?) around the room, with another, separate section in the center for desserts. Here’s some of what the buffet offered. I’m sure I’m forgetting a lot.

Salad Station – a variety of premixed salads and mix-your-own varieties.

Soups – there were three that night – chicken noodle, turtle, and tortilla. This is also where you’ll find the melted butter for the seafood.

Seafood – The best crab legs I’ve had on a Vegas buffet (and I’ve been to The Bellagio, Paris, Mirage, and Aladdin buffets). They were the largest and meatiest split crab legs I’ve found in town. Excellent. There’s also large, peeled, boiled cold shrimp. You’ll also find herring, salmon, and about a half-dozen types of sushi. Several kinds of creviche, which I didn’t try.

Asian – Made-to-order noodle dishes, Mongolian beef (excellent), fried rice, BBQ pork loin (a little dry), fresh lichee nuts.

Carving Station – That night, it was prime rib and a lamb roast/chops.

Italian – Assorted pastas. I didn’t bother. Too heavy when eating at a buffet. They also has made-to-order risotto, which I didn’t try, but it looked interesting.

Pizza – There were 5 or 6 different kinds, traditional and non-traditional thin crust varieties. There were also a couple kinds of stuffed breads.

American – Good Kansas City BBQ pork ribs, green beans, assorted cheeses, breads. Lots of other stuff, but I didn’t spend much time here.

Desserts – Crème Brule, Crème Caramel, fresh cookies, 5 kinds of Gelato (I had the Bananas Foster Gelato), bread pudding, Bananas Foster, carrot cake, strawberry shortcake, various toppings for ice cream, and a variety of sugar free desserts.

It’s expensive, but I would highly recommend this buffet. The food, both quality and quantity, is excellent, as is the service.

I agree, have had dinner buffet twice and both times the food was great and the service was very good. They keep bring out small portions so that the food always stays fresh.
