We'd seen Battista's mentioned on a travel station Vegas show and made a note to try it. It did not disappoint!
Went 5 p.m. on Thursday. Seated immediately in an alcove where there were 3 other parties. Dinner includes soup or salad, unlimited white or red wine, garlic bread, entree, and "cappuccino." Prices range from $16.95 to $34.95 depending on the entree.
Hubby had minestrone soup which had plenty of veggies. I had salad - very fresh, tasty tomatoes, good Italian dressing. He had veal parmigiani with ziti and I had chicken cacciatore with linguini. Both dishes were delicious and more than we could eat. I especially liked the rich tomato sauce on mine - and lots of green peppers and onions. Garlic bread was addictive.
When the waitress brought the cappuccino without asking if we both wanted it, or decaf or regular, I was concerned because I only drink decaf, but it turned out to be a hot chocolate drink with coffee syrup - and topped with whipped cream. It serves as a dessert and beverage.
An accordion player came around and played an appropriate song for each table -"New York, New York" for us.
A most enjoyable, reasonable, delicious dinner, and we'll certainly go there again.
