Just back from our trip to LV, 10/23 - 10/28. I'll be posting the whole trip report ASAP, as soon as I get my thoughts together. GREAT TRIP!!!

However, I had to tell you all about the buses. I haven't had a chance to read all the forums for the last week, so I hope someone hasn't beat me to it.

We'd been using all the public transportation - trolley, monorail (love it!), and bus. Thursday we noticed double-decker buses on The Strip. We took the 301 later that day - all double-deckers on the 301 & 302 route. It's great because they can carry more passengers, but the ceiling of the top deck is pretty low. I'm 5'5'' and could stand up without hitting my head, but Hubby is 6', and he had to duck down to walk to a seat.

Details of the trip to follow...

We saw these buses from our great view of the strip while supping at the Range/Harrahs on Oct 29. We thought they were some kind of travel tour.

I actually asked the bus driver because the old buses disappeared overnight and there were all these nice new double-deckers. I thought maybe I'd had too much Sangria - but they're regular route buses.

Wow, can't wait to see those double decker buses when I go in Dec. Thanks for the info.

Do they run up and down the Strip regualry (I think the regular busses were every 20 minutes) as far as Freemont?

Don't know how often they run. When we saw them on the 29th of October there were about 5 of them all travelling along together. That's why we thought they were some kind of tour.

They are really neat looking. Like being in London.
