I was not going till Oct of this year but got 2 offers that i could not pass up.
venetian giving me 3/4 nights free and Mandaly Bay giving me 2 free nights.
This is definitly a sign that vegas is in trouble, Hopefully the prices continue to fall thru oct when i am playing to go again

We had planned to go to Vegas this July to celebrate our 1 year anniversary, then an offer to go to Aruba with the in-laws and kids came up that we couldnt resist so we decided to put Vegas off. We are going to Atlantic City for 2 nights in March and we got free nights through Harrah's for our stay--keep this in mind--we gambled in Harrah's property's 1 hour only our last trip to Vegas, and a few hours in A/C 2 years ago,. Curiosity took over after I booked and got free nights inA/C so I put in Various dates for Las Vegas, NOT under MY OFFERS just went to book a room. At 3 properties--Harrah's Bally's and Rio the total cost was for a full 7 nights $80!!! We couln't resist, we are going at the end of June!!!

And now Harrahs is offering up to a $300 airline voucher for a return trip if you book with one of their properties at a later date. I also saw on KVBC News a couple of days ago that some places in Vegas will be offering $15-$16 per night starting next week. Also Terrilbes at Primm Valley(Stateline) our offering $6/night and for locals one free night.:)

What places are offering those prices? Harrah's is offering airline vouchers? Where did you find that?

I got the harrahs email promo as well. Thing is for us in Canada, just like the MGM deal last year, the flight voucher is for US airport departures. Although sure Buffalo is only a 2 hour drive, it is the cost of driving to the airport, parking your car for the duration you are gone, driving back and add in the bs with customs.
Free nights? I wish i got those, but I don't gamble tons and so all I do is get special rates with my Players Card. Only with MGM-Mirage so far. Harrahs, Wynn, Palazzo, Coast Casinos and Palms have yet to offer deals for Players Card customers.

Hi Astidixie. There is a hot button on Harrah's main page of its website that explains the program. It is titled something like "Get your Wings." Hope this helps.:)

I bought a plane ticket for August and researching hotels. Ive seen Downtown hotels for $25 a night during the week. More than decent Strip hotels like Luxor and Flamingo are under $60 I might hold off a bit on booking and see where the prices go.

What kind of price did you get?
I always fly Delta, trying to get my miles up there and I find the initial price in $1. higher than last year for the flight I want.
BUT this year I also have to figure the $15. each way for my checked bag so...........I will continue to watch the prices.
WISH they would get away with the $15 for the bag & I would book now!:)

I saw $298 on Continental but the times werent what I wanted. I settled on $340(including fees/taxes) because the flight times worked a lot better. I may just carry on my bag and buy personal items in Vegas. The third party websites such as sidestep.com came in higher than the actual airline websites.

We aren't big players at all but we are getting discounted room rates and free nights from Bellagio, Wynn, MGM to Orleans and downtown. Holding out for the late summer or fall. Only one so far has been 2 free nights at Mandalay Bay through September and we have never stayed or played there.

I received an offer for 3 free nights at MGM - and I spent maybe $100 at mirage casinos last year ! Maybe it's something to do with the fact that I already book 3 nights at TI for March, which is also a mirage hotel... they seem very eager to give away rooms.

Bellagio just sent out an email with 25 percent off all reservations made
60 or more days in advance. I think that you will see more and more creative offers as the year goes along and the Stock Market continues to tank and tank and tank
Trump Casinos (three of them) in Atlantic City declared bankruptcy (again) this week.

Got an email from Golden Nugget today for $20 off posted rates in June, July and August. It's as low as $39 a night during the week in the summer.
Has to be booked by March 1st and is non-refundable. No booking code was given and it can be booked on-line or by calling the 800#
BTW the reservation has to be paid for in full at the time of booking.

TI has a deal too where it is non-refundable. I don't like that idea at all.

Am getting ready to book a package at the Nugget for me, hubby & daughter for 4 days/3 nights for $254.70 per person. We will fly out of Ft Collins, CO on Allegiant. Is this a good deal or should I wait? From what I read on the net the other day fuel prices are expected to go UP UP UP.
I think this is a decent deal but just wondering what others think?

I received an offer for 3 free nights at Bellagio, $75 in free play and 2 for 1 tickets for O. The O ticket is for VIP seating which is about $174....but you get 2 of them. I haven't been to the Bellagio in months and I'm a local. Go figure. I'm not even sure if I'm even going to use the offer. Expectations are pretty high if I accept the offer.

I am getting deal offers every single day online and in the mail! It is so hard not to go. My work is so busy right now, but they are tempting me daily to go. :( I miss Vegas!! I just have to be strong!!!
At least I can read some great trip reports and enjoy the shared stories.:)
Not real sure how I did it but I got 3 night free in a King suite at IP for next month. I could have stayed at other Harrahs property too for free but we do like IP. I went on their site and look at the hot deals for ALL the Vegas properties and they would come up comped but when I went to the individule holtes there was a charge. I did this for several dates and got the same thing each time. Needles to say I booked and printed receipt that said o balance due.

I get the email deals but no free nights offered and I go to Vegas 2 times a year since 2006, when I went 3 times that year. Have all the players cards: MGMMirage, Total Rewards, Wynn Red Card, Coast Casinos, Riviera, Sahara, Palms but nothing for free rooms and I gamble at MGM properties all the time, this past January I gambled mostly at the Palms, am staying there in late April but not on a deal sent by them, on a deal from a travel site.

Got an email today from Mirage. The further out you book the more you save.
If I book for August, I can save 30% which would mean rooms for $65 a night.
Im getting emails almost every day.
