Hello all. Travel once a year to sin city alone. Usually have one free day/night. Do the half price ticket agencies sell single seats? What would any of you suggest I do or see. Thank you.

The half price/2for1 tickets wouldn't be your first choice/best seats
in the Showroom anyway so why not treat yourself, pick your show
in advance and call the Boxoffice direct before you leave for a great seat!
YES, you can buy a single ticket but they won't include the "A" Shows.
What are your interests....music, magic, comedy, adult?

Whether or not you can get a good deal on a single seat for cheap, I don't know. My experience with the discounted tickets has not been very good. It's a hassle sometimes to pick them up and to get a good seat. For the Jay White show at the Riviera, we had to go to the Best Western on Paradise and get a voucher, then go to the Riviera Box Office to get the tickets, stand in line for about an hour to try get a good seat on first-come, first-serve. There were 4 of us; hubby tipped the usher $20 and we got a front row table. For the Coasters, Platters, Drifters show at Sahara, it was a little bit easier. We were able to pick up the tickets at Harrah's but they were first-come, first-serve, so we tipped again and got very good seats.
Now I call the box office at the casino or go to the website and get assigned seats reserved at regular price and pick them up when I get there. Have always been pleased. Good single seats are usually available. If you want to see something at MGM or NYNY, go to their website. You can print your reserved seat ticket out at home and don't have to stand in line at the box office to pick it up. We got front row for Rita Rudner that way and I got a good single seat for Tom Jones and Dennis Miller on the website. With reserved seats, you just walk in and sit down. Much less hassle and that makes it worth the difference in price for us.
Good luck. Hope you get what you want at a good price.
You may not be able to get a "cheap" ticket per se, but you will be able to get a great seat. I often find that single seats are scattered throughout the venue. You also don't have to book that far in advance.

...I agree with that. I got a great last minute seat for MAMMA MIA one
afternoon 15min. before Showtime...30min. before Showtime I didn't
didn't even know I was going, just one of those spur of the molment things
that seemed like fun.
I do like to have my tickets in advance usually. Know you've got a great
seat, no disapointments...
