Trip #1 - Jan. 27-29
We only went out in January once before, but we got such a great fare we couldn't pass it up. We're flying United through Denver ($220 each, including all taxes etc.) Our room at Harrah's is free.
The concern is if the weather cooperates and we can get out of Philly and have no problems in Denver on the way out. Who cares about the way back!
Our plans are simple: gambling, eating and walking.
Thanks to coming in 9th in the ELV Football Pool, I have tickets for Fab Four Live (Thanks, Steve) but not sure if we'll use them this trip or on our April one.
Trip #2:
Harrah's offered four free nights - a first for me, I usually only get three. We weren't sure which nights we wanted to go, so I called and reserved all of them.
Air fares haven't been all that low for April, so I finally decided to use my points with Southwest and just booked April 26-28. The ink wasn't even dry on the confirmation when my husband (Mr. Cheap) says "Why don't we add an extra night?" No problem for me, other than getting it changed with Southwest. I don't anticipate any trouble with them.
Stay tuned on that one.
