Well, the airline tickets are bought and payed for and we now have reservations. Air fare on SWA is not the bargain it used to be. Non Stop RT tickets from Birmingham to LAS cost nearly double what we payed last year. I'm really glad we took a bump on our flight coming home and got a voucher last March. This covered about half the airfare. We have booked at the Flamingo, getting a a Strip view GO room for a week for $400 (5 nights comped).
I've not made too many plans so far. We have coupons to see George Wallace at the Flamingo and I do plan on us using them. Rita Rudner is also a strong possibility. Free buffets at Paris and Rio will come in handy too. We will go downtown at least one day and will play a bit at the Boyd properties there. I'll schedule my wife a spa visit and, while she is there, I will head to the LV Hilton Sportsbook to watch a bit of March Madness. We will also play a bit at the Wynn, as my wife LOVES the Buffet there. Gregrio's last TR provided some info on interesting spots to eat there. I hope to scope out at least a couple of places. This will be the first trip in years that we will not eat at Mings at the IP. I can't believe its closed. :( I may try to pick up some Terry Fator tickets. I saw him on TV and the reviews of his previous show at the LVH were very good.
