Vegas Club?

Hi All
Has anyone stayed at the Vegas Club or Plaza recently? I'm interested in wether the change away from Barrick has helped, hurt or had no change. We used to stay there pretty often, but stopped when Barrick took over, as the offers dried up. If anyone has had a recent experience, I'd sure like to hear about it.

Hi we stayed at the vegas club in august for 5 nights. We had a north tower room. This was our first stay at this hotel and I must say It's a room. The first room they gave us was dirty the carpeting looked like it was never cleaned and the bed was awfull. I just took one look and called the front desk and told them this was not acceptable. They gave us a new room and that one was cleaner. Nothing fancy but a room. I would compare it to the imperial palace rooms. I did like the casino and downtown and for the price you can't go wrong. I booked the vegas club again for 11/4 thru 11/6 north tower again with a great rate of 157.00 for the weekend thru hotel kingdom.(PBR is in town). I will let you know more after this trip. Diane

A friend of mine just stayed there for a week and she said it was not a great experience. They had to change rooms 2 times. The first time was because the handle of the shower came off in her hand when she was going to shower. They moved rooms and the same thing happened in the second room. The 3rd rooms was fine, but basically just a place to sleep.
