Help!! Can't get my photo to show up!

I just added a photo to my profile and it shows up fine there, however it doesn't show up when I post. What am I doing wrong??

go to "user CP" (control panel)
click on "edit avatar"
do you see your picture right under "your current avatar"?
if you do,make sure the little round circle right next to it (do not use an avatar) UNCHECK

try that

Thanks so much for the help! I was putting the picture under the wrong section. When I added it to my avatar, it worked. Duh!!!
