My wife and I try to go to some kind of a show each day we are in Vegas. We decided to go to the Haunted Vegas Tour at the Greek Isle Casino. We got our tickets at the 1/2 price ticket stand across from the Stardust. We were not sure what to expect as we are not great believers in the paranormal. The show starts out with a 15 or 20 minute show inside a showroom and leaves alot to be desired. Then they put you on a bus and drive you to various locations around Vegas. We found the bus trip to be very interesting as they show you some interesting things and places were events happened and where stars lived. The host on the bus gives you some excellent storytelling. The bus part of the show took about 1 1/2 hours and was interesting and well worth the money. All in all we enjoyed the show

I'm so glad you reviewed the Haunted Vegas Tour. My next trip to LV (next year), I'm going to try it. You're the first I've heard talk about it. I'm also going to book the horseback riding with lunch at a ranch, and possibly the ghost town/old gold mine tour. They all sound interesting to me, and it's so different from your usual Vegas shows and gambling! Has anybody tried them yet?

Thanks!
Cindy

Is this a year round thing or only for the Halloween season?

I did a review of this show and even though the pre-tour show was a bit campy, I enjoyed it. The bus was very warm that night which made the tour very uncomfortable. But it was very interesting.

The Haunted Vegas Tour:
Steve Speaking:
Making your way through the Greek Isles is scary enough but when you finally reach The Haunted Vegas showroom, your journey is just beginning. There are two parts to the show. The first part is in the Haunted Vegas showroom where there is a 30 minute show that stars Zamora, The Torture King (a newsletter member) and a cast of zany characters. The show was spooky and well performed.

The second part of the show is a bus tour of some of the haunted places throughout Las Vegas. The tour was very interesting and informative although the bus was very warm when not moving. I particularly liked "Hell House" and "The Girl in the Park" part of the trip. You are allowed to leave the bus at the Park. The entire show/tour takes about two hours. If you are into this type of entertainment, you will have a great time and come away with a lot of knowledge about the "haunted" side of Las Vegas.

Eileen speaking:
I thought we would be actually going into haunted places but most of the time was spent on the bus. We did get out at a haunted park though. It was very interesting and I knew my son would love it and I bought him a book - Haunted Las Vegas.
