We had out first members meeting ever at the Steakhouse which had to be about 5 years ago. The food we just OK, nothing spectacular. Haven't been back since and I have not seen any updated reviews of the restaurant.
Atmosphere is Old Vegas and the place is dimly lit and very romantic.

A postscript:
Harrah's currently has nothing to do with the downtown casino that used to be known as the "Horseshoe".
A separate company bought the building and casino and hired Harrah's to manage it for (I believe) 1 or 2 years. That management contract has now ended. The other company owns the "Binions" name. Harrahs purchased the "Horseshoe" name for use in Nevada and purchased the rights to the "World Series of Poker". One rumor I've seen is that Harrahs will knock down Balley's and create a "Horseshoe" there in it's place.
So now the building downtown is known as "Binions Gambling Hall" and all the "Horseshoe" signs and symbols have been removed (leaving exposed building in their place when I was last there).
Also, Harrahs negotiated with the City of Las Vegas to keep the World Series of Poker final table at Binions through the Centennial year of 2005. I believe the plans are to play the entire event at the Rio for 2006. End of an era.
One advantage of Harrahs being out of the picture at Binions is that they didn't have so much cruddy 6:5 Blackjack there the last time I visited....
