Hope to leave this Sunday for Vegas and will be driving through a winter wonderland, just hope the roads will be snow and ice free. I have to go through three high mountain passes. I do hope it does NOT snow in Vegas for the two weeks that I will be there. I hope I will be able to go back to LA on Jan 3 with no bad weather and no real heavy traffic. I think I will need a lot of luck on this trip.
My plans are to see Ethel M's christmas lights which I dearly love and try to see them when I am in town around the holidays. Maybe Sunday or Monday night if the weather holds out, it will be cold. My neighbor sent me photos of my roof with snow and the general area of the complex with snow all around.
I hate snow, but nice to look at when it is on a mountain. I am from Wisconsin and I had enough of the snow. I just might go to Sunset Park for the drive thru of the lights there. I have done this before, it is ok. I was wondering about the Spring Preserve light show if that is worth while.
I will clean and do some more unpacking a bit. I would like to see In A Fect again on Tuesday night if they are playing at Sam's Town. I hope to get to the Strip and run around checking everything out. I will go to some off strip casinos too. I just might, go and buy a tv, but no cable as yet, maybe have a washer and dryer and a sofa delivered, not holding my breath on that one. So this will be out and running around trip as long as the Snow STAYS AWAY. Some bad weather is coming during Christmas. :eek: Not sure what I will do for New Years, will try to watch the fireworks from somewhere near the Strip.
My friend wants to go downtown, well I hate crowds in a small area, soooo all in all I will be checking out what to do.
