I will be going to Vegas October 2-7 and want to buy tickets for the Scintas show at the Rio for Monday October 3. Anyone have an idea as to where I can buy discounted tickets since I will be buying 4 tickets for our group? And can anyone tell me if this is a really good show for my mom and aunt who are in their 60's to attend? I thought this would be a great time to try out the Rio buffet also since it is rated so highly. Does anyone know if they still give coupons out at Harrah's couryard for this buffet? And is the Rio seafood buffet only open  on the weekends? Thanks in advance for any answers you can give me. Can't wait to go in October!!! Deanne

the pocketbook of values has a 1/2 price offer for Scintas. also you may be able to get a 2 for 1 coupon at Harrahs carnival court from Showgirls who hand them out.
We just got back and saw Scintas this week. we really enjoyed the show. they do a fast paced, energetic performance. while they are a trifle "naughty" they were not "blue" .the audience did not mind at all and we were mostly a 40 to 60 year old group.
I think that the seafood buffet is a 7 day a week deal. not sure about the buffet coupns. they used to have a link for an online coupon but I don't know if it's still up
Have Fun

There is a kiosk at the Carnival Court at Harrah's and they usually have two for one coupons that they will give you if you ask for them.

Also check both "Showbiz" and "Whats-On" magazines for these same 2 for 1 coupons.

P.S. The show is great. The Scintas have a meet and greet after every show.

Hi Deanne. YES, you should be able to fine 2for1 coupons at Harrah's
Carnival Court for RIO's World Buffet, I'm not sure about the Seafood but the buffet itself is on and real good...Scintas 2for1's should be there too.

Your Mom and aunt should enjoy the Scintas show just fine...
The Pocket Book of Values 'bill the cat' refers to is the one the Las Vegas Advisor offers through it's membership and you probably don't have time
to set that up before you leave.

You can find printable coupons here: www.travel2vegas.com
Scroll down to Coupon Swap and 'click' on 'Online printable coupons'.
The last two addresses are Harrah's. One has 2for1 Scintas, the other
2for1 World Buffet or $10.OFF the Seafood Buffet............BUT
they are last months...and I'm not sure they'll update before you leave so keep watching for Oct. coupons and maybe...
'we' will get lucky before 'we' leave....I'll be at the RIO Oct.2-6 and hope
they offer the Oct. Seafood coupons before I leave too!........
..........see ya in line at the buffet!

We have seen Sintas twice. Very good show. I'm sure your mom will enjoy it.
If you go to the Rio web site it gives you the hours for both buffets.

We'll be in Vegas 9/29 thru 10/3 and were given free tix for the Scintas show through Greektown Casino in Detroit, MI. Wasn't sure if it was a show worth seeing. Thanks for the information. We will definitely see it that weekend.

Seen the Scintas twice. Very good. Very funny and very talented.
Well worth the money even if you don't get good deals with coupons. The food at the Rio is good wherever you eat. :p  ;)

Tickets2Nite has 2 for 1 tix as well. Great show. Mostly Frankie Scintas and some of the brother. Sister seems out of place for the most part.

Saw the Scintas. Very good, entertaining show. Singing, comedy...your mother and aunt will enjoy it.

If it's the first time for all of you at the Rio, catch the Free Masquarade in the Sky Show there in Masquarade Village. Starts about 4 or 5 p.m. and is every hour, "floats hanging from the ceiling, with singers and dancers on them , parading on by above the heads of everyone in the casino" ...and of course throwing Mardi Gras beads to the crowds. There's also a stage with more entertainers on it that comes up from the casino floor.

You can also view it from a balcony lining the one side of the Masquarade Village. You'll see the stairs, just past the bar on the right side. Very festive, party atmosphere, and its free. If you've seen one show, wait for another one, as there are several different themes. They run until about 11p.m. every hour, on the hour. You can ask there for the exact times.

Enjoy the Rio!

I also recommend seeing Clint Holmes. Another great Vegas type show. they'd enjoy that as well.
You can get 2 for 1 tickets in some of the Vegas Magazines (which are free in the hotels) ask at the front desk for them... i.e. What's On Magazine, etc.

especially with the 2 for 1 coups that we received at Carnaval Court at Harrahs. Would see this show again
