Since I am a part time resident of Vegas, I hope to be there this Sunday and stay for six days. I have been dealing with a remodeled townhouse for the past full year and I was hoping to make a final move this December, yes it is still up in the air about the move. So my plans are to go sofa shopping and maybe a TV too, not much in the place as of now. Did get a new dinette set when I was there in September.
On the last trip, I finally got to see the Silverton and had the buffet, best prime rib yet and this was on a Friday night. I think there was another member there at the same night from her trip report.
The aquarium is very neat go and see it and watch for the feeding times on Thursday through Sunday in the afternoon and evening. Mermaids swim a half hour after the feeding. See the cute bowling alley too and of course the Bass Pro shop. Love the Silverton, but my home is nearer to Sam's Town.
I did get to see and have a meal at the Town Square, south of the Strip too.
Do not park on the town's streets, use the parking lots or garage.
This trip I am planning on going to Skyline Casino for the 2 for 1 dinner on Tuesday. This will be my first time, hope Mathew will be there? Then I was going over to Sam's Town to see the group that Vegas Babe has been talking about. Otherwise I hope to get on the Strip and roam around a bit. I did see the conservatory on the last trip, very nice. Of course I will have house work to do too, doing the floors and bathrooms and maybe some unpacking. I may also try some local eating places too, just see what my time will be. I guess I will miss the meet up :(
