8 days to go!!!

8 days left. We go to the SEMA show every year and the whole trip we do the same thing so my goal for this trip was all new, different things. It's full of things we have never done before. We are flying out of DFW on Sunday morning the 2nd early. We are going to the House of Blues Gospel Brunch. After that, yes we will hurry to check in the room because of Nascar. I didn't check the Nascar schedule last February when I booked this trip and it happens to be Nascar weekend here at our home town. Husband not too happy that we are going that morning. Had to get rid of his tickets. That night, we got the 25% off Love tickets. Added that in at the last minute today. Monday is my shopping day and his Shelby factory tour day. That night is Criss Angel Believe. Don't laugh, I bought those tickets the night last spring they went on sale. I am not giving up on him yet although my husband already has from the reviews. Eating at Burger Bar at Mandalay Bay that night. Tuesday is a breakfast at the SEMA show and then the SEMA show. Nothing really planned that night other than lots of gambling, vp and drinking downtown. Wednesday is breakfast with the women of NHRA and then the SEMA show with lots of Nascar drivers autographs. Wednesday night is Lance Burton with dinner before at Harley Davidson Cafe. OK some things like dinner there are tradition. Thursday is back to SEMA but no free breakfast. Hopefully husband only goes this day. Then I am meeting some internet friends at Diablos at 2. Friday we have to go home. Sad time at 6:50 pm.

Boy, you sure do have some energy. When I go to conventions, I'm hammered dog poo by the end of the day. I did the House of Blues Gospel Brunch a few years ago. I enjoyed it. Last year, I tried the Burger Bar and that was good too. Sounds like you will have a good time. Is there a trip report in our future?

The time has finally here. We are all packed, ready to go and need to get a little sleep before going to the airport tomorrow morning early. I know we will have a great time and come home worn out but ready to plan the next time. I'll be back Saturday!!!!!!!!!!

I will be very interested in reading your TR. Sounds like you have a lot of things packed into the 'time' that you will be here. I mean it's like 4-wide coming out turn 3!!!!!! Yowza!!

So, have you ever done the NASCAR CAFE (upstairs inside of the Sahara)?

Wow Mister Keno, I never thought about it like that. Yes, we are four wide coming out and getting ready to cross that finish line. Leaving for the airport in about an hour from now. Yes, we have been to Nascar Cafe and liked it. We do have a lot packed into this trip. Usually, we have nothing but the Sema show and one show but this year, we just decided to pack everything in.
