We just booked 4 days at The Mirage. Can anyone tell me if I did good? http://www.everythinglv.com/forums/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif
 The price was right, the location was right, but I hear the rooms are small. Will we be disapointed?

I have never stayed there, but my friends have. The rooms are a bit on the small side and she had a view of the air conditioning unit. She stayed there with her 2 daughters and she got charged another 20.00 per night for an extra person in the room.
We had 5 people in a room at the Rio, and were never charged extra.
But the Mirage casion has been good to me.:)

I've never stayed there, but I'm going there in Nov. We usually stay at Bellagio, but Mirage comped us 4 nights so we'll try it out. I have friends who stay at Mirage all the time and love it. I guess we'll find out soon enough.

I've stayed at the Mirage twice. The rooms are nice. Didn't think they were any smaller than average hotel room size. Furnished nice and very clean. Faced the Strip and volcano once and faced Caesars looking south once. Pool and casino are both great!! Samba Grill is great for dinner, especially with a group.

My husband and I stayed there in October 2004. Rooms were nice-sized, seemed no bigger or smaller than usual. We had a "volcano view," that we paid extra for when we booked on America West Vacations. While it was nice, I would never again pay more for a view.
The pool area is wonderful, one of my favorites. And I would have to agree with the above, don't miss eating at Samba!

I love the Mirage. I was spoiled when I stayed there five years ago. For some unknown reason I was given a free upgrade to a suite when I checked in. I assume all the other rooms were taken since i was checking in late at night and it didnt cost me a dime extra.
The suite was huge and the nicest room I have ever had. Wish my apartment was that nice.
I have never seen one of their standard rooms however.
It's still a thril just to walk into the place I think it remains a classy hotel.

Rooms at the Mirage are on the small side, about 350 Sq. ft., but they are very, very nice.

The rooms aren't all that small but the bathrooms are. However Mirage is a nice play to stay. enjoy it.

My room looked at the volcano. I thought the room was quite large and well appointed in comparison to many I have stayed in while in Vegas. But, the bathroom was definitely SMALL! I remember that you needed the door closed to move around. If the door was opened, it somehow got in the way. I had this conversation about the small bathrooms with a young couple I met during my last trip to Vegas who were staying at the Mirage.
Read my review of Samba in the Restaurant review thread. Then, make a reservation. You will NOT be disappointed. We ate there last Saturday and it was as good as ever!
Mirage has great amenities, pool, casino, buffet and the tram to TI is very convenient. Great location, mid-strip as well.
