NBC Las Vegas

Just wondering what you think of the NBC show Las Vegas? Does anyone know if some scenes are filmed at an actual casino and if so do you know which one? Thanks

The casino is built on a sound stage in Calif. Except for some exterior shots, most the show is done in Calif.

NBC's Las Vegas is totally hokey (is that a word?). Yet I find my self hooked to it every Monday. Ever notice that none of the 'staff' wears an ID tag?

Ive read the Las Vegas reality shows like Caesars 24/7 and American Casino are very much staged.

To the original question, I love Las Vegas every Monday night. Ill even miss the first hour of the football game..

it is real enuff for me! i love that show. it has it all. it has a good mystery with lots of guest stars and plenty of giggles thrown in!

I really enjoyed this past Monday's episode. I wonder who is leaving in two weeks. I can't imagine the show without Ed Deline.
I also havent been able to find out if the ratings have been as good as last year.

Danny found the woman in the picture, she was actually workig a scam with her daughter (the real estate agent who was Danny's new girlfriend).
Both were arrested before getting away with Danny's money.
Ed quit at the end of the show and the promo for two weeks said someones number will be up. Ive read elsewhere there will be a cast change but no one is saying who.
Ed also hired Mary to be hotel manager.

The real question here, is who is going to die ? I think it will be Monica the new Montcito owner, but it could be lots of other characters.

I hope the woman who is running the hotel now exits. I prefer Ed to be in charge. I do like watching the show. They have weird people on there and probably Vegas attracts
weird people sometimes. I like the groups and singers that
play at the end of the show too.

I wish travel channel would get off showing all the poker games and start showing Vegas news and whatever is new there.

I've been watching from the beginning. I sure hope it's Monica who will be leaving the show. She brings the show to a halt. Especailly with the effeciency person she brought in to try to curb expenses. Ed, is not happy, HE QUIT! [I told my husband 2 weeks ago that the real estate lady was a sham] Glad they both got arrested.
Sam needs a life.
I think Mary and Danny will eventually get together.

I like the Poker shows, but I miss all the Vegas shows they used to do. They have been running a lot of reruns lately. :( I really dislike a lot of the new shows like Anthony Bourdaine, Strand Peters, Home Search, Vacation Home, etc. If I wanted to see shows like that I would tune into Discovery or any of the other stations doing the 'different' and Home improvement/search type shows. They need more Samantha Brown type shows, too. She did a few on Bellagio and other LV hotels.

i sure hope it is the new owner.... i can't think of one main character that they can afford to lose. IMO anyway. as i like them all.

I dunno the Vegas shows on the Travel Channel all look the same to me and I dislike Samantha Brown (she is way too perky).
When I was in Las Vegas in August the hotel had a great channel, think it was run by the LV Chamber of Commerce but it was very intersting.
If we can have 3 spanish stations and 5 shopping channels you'd think there would be room for a Vegas channel.
BTW are we getting any new episode of American Casino??

I agree with you Boston Bill, Samantha Brown has done a couple shows for the Travel Channel on Luxor and Mandalay Bay. Not sure if she did any others, but they should do more!

I was out in Vegas two weeks ago and went by the GVR. We asked a buffet cashier about Dawn LaGuardia (Food and Beverage) and she said that Dawn left the GVR about 6 months ago. She said that they were no longer filming there either. :( Bummer, I like the show and the GVR.

I was there in Oct and the Place was beautiful but the rooms are too expensive.It was Funny I was getting to like Dawn and the last eposide they didn"t have Ralph on the Credits.

I agree 100%. What happened to the girl Tessa (not sure of name) last I knew she left on plane with Ed's daughter and never returned---oh well!

I flipped back and forth but missed most of Las Vegas the opening was cool as they did the show as it would be in 1962. I hope it will be repeated soon.

Ive been watching the repeats on the Travel Channel, Ninya's hot but I'd hate to work for her. I just can't get passed those awful scripted parts where the staffers are explaining whats going on.

Casino Diaries was the best of the reality Vegas shows. It still pops up on Discovery Times channel occasionally.

I agree Ninya is a hot babe loved the esposide she jumped in the Pool.
I would not want to work for her either but Think Joe would be a good boss to work for.

I also like Dawn Laguardis but heard she no longer on Staff
as well as Wayne.
I am very upset if the show will not be on
