I will be heading back to our favorite city for Trip #16 and would like to check out Cook E Jarr at Harrah's Carnaval Court.Every trip I seem to miss
his show, partly due to conflicting schedule info. Some of my sources tell me he plays Tuesdays and Wednesdays, others tell me it's Fridays and Saturdays from Midnight to 2 AM.Would anyone on this forum know for sure and/or have any opinions about his show?

Today's listing of lounge acts in the NEON section of the Review Journal shows Cook E. Jarr performing Tuesday and Wednesdays.

Thus my dilemma.Saturday/Sunday my home is Main St Station.Tuesday/Wednesday I'm at the Aladdin .I don't know which if any night I should plan for,and not having seen his act ,is Cook E worth juggling my schedule for.
Of course if the cards are coming my way,all bets are off,or on as the case may be.:D

I just got back and can say for sure that he's at Carnival Court on Wednesdays since we went and hung out for his show. He's been around FOREVER - when I lived in Las Vegas in 1989 I remember him being at the old El Rancho!! He doesn't perform with a band anymore - just sings along to a karaoke machine, but still it was fun. Carnival Court is always a blast - they could just be playing recorded music and it would still be a party. We went 3 nights in a row and it was always an extreme party!!!

:) Looks like we created a bigger dilemma for the poster than they already had.
I even called Harrah's directly and got the answer I posted which appears to be wrong. Harrah's OH YEAH!

Entertainment is such a 'personal' thing...I didn't care for him.
To me, he's the ultimate 'cliche' of a of a tacky Las Vegas
Lounge act...and maybe that's what made him so popular for
so long.
With that in mind (and if you've had enough to drink), I guess his
Show can be fun. I caught his show be accident, but couldn't take
him for very long and would never go out of my way to see him.

I'm going to shoot for Tuesday night after Dean's lounge at the Barbary Coast ,which also sounds like a slice of old Vegas.
