I have not read much about Coast Casinos new flagship Hotel/Casino Southcoast. When we were there in August we looked it up and discovered it is a couple of miles South of Mandalay Bay on Las Vegas Blvd., but out away from most everything. In august it was under construction, but looked like it's going to be a very nice place. It is scheduled to open early in 2006. I checked the prices on rooms in August and it is $79.00 a night including the weekend nights. It is going to have an equestrian center for any horse lovers, and is going to have a showroom, movie theathers, bowling alleys and Bingo hall. They also advertise there is going to be plasma tv's in the oversize rooms. For all of us who love the Orleans, Suncoast, Goldcoast and Barbary Coast this should be pretty exciting. It is going to have 1350 rooms so it's just nice size. You can check it out on the internet at
