I'm heading out to Niagara Falls Friday July 11 for a long weekend for R&R and small casino fix. (I'll wave to ya Polar, aren't you in Niagara Falls?) So send good mojo my way, I head to Vegas Sept. 14th. I would love to take some Canadian money with me when I go!!:D
I'll let you all know for sure if I become a millionairess. If so... first round or two is on me!

Yup, Canadian side. Which of the 2 are you at? We are staying at a "quaint looking" hotel on Fallsview. (translate as cheapest I could find...) But, we plan to be at both casinos at some point in the weekend.

Not too sure what the exact timing on thing are. We kind of pick up and go. I imagine we will be there Friday evening and/or brunch time (late breakfast early lunch) on Saturday. We've done just about every touristy thing over the years so we kind of wander and do things as we go along. So, depending on when you work or are in the area, we can meet up or at least have a hello or something!
So, I have to ask, have you noticed the Fairway Motor Inn? It looks just this side of liveable online, hoping it looks liveable at least from the outside in person. This was a kind of a last minute, low budget get away. But we still wanted walking distance. This is probably the biggest gamble of the trip!

What is the street name? I bet I passed it, just can't place it.
I work all weekend, starting times 4pm. Let me know and we will see what we can do. :)

Polar, it's on Fallsview Blvd. It can't be too bad. Not sure if meeting up is going to work this time but we go several times a year so one of these times it will.
Mailgirl, we'll be in Seneca on Sunday, pass right in front on the way home so I have to stop and donate there too!!
One more night sleep and I'm there!

WOW such a fun little weekend this is my first time back in my computer room. (Things hit the fan at work while I was gone, always seems that way) Everything was spectacular. I FINALLy got to see the fireworks. It always seems to rain when I am there. This time it waited until Sat. night.
As for the gambling, Casino Niagara treated my boyfriend to $200. jackpot on a Munsters game and he came home a total of $243.00 ahead in the gambling budget. Seneca was repaid my losses, I came home $10.00 ahead. So the weekend ended up costing us only room and food.
The room at the Fairway Motor Inn was fine. Plain but clean bathroom and comfortable bed. And the nicest staff ever. I recommend the place for a plain old place to crash. Only a $10 minute walk at most to Fallsview and maybe 20 to Casino Niagara. It's just about at the corner of Fallsview and Ferry St.
And Andrea... next time we will meet up and share stories and a laugh or two!
